A fictitious Jaguar XK Race Car variant.
I decided early on that I would not make this car a study of interesting, 'out there' aerodynamics and race car design, and instead designed the car such that it would fit rather well in a FIA GT or lower Le Mans catagory championship. This allowed me to better concentrate on improving my skills and trying out new techniques. It also allowed me to better understand the fundamentals of race car design.
The livery of the car was designed to demonstrate a particular British/UK pride. The livery is predominately in 'British Racing Green', with details of the Union Jack linking Jaguar, its origins, and its racing history. I essentially designed the livery to demonstrate a national pride in a British designed and built race car.
I am particularly happy with the final product, and I hope you guys are as well!
